The Balm
The Balm was created to act as a barrier, to keep flies from irritating scrapes or minor surface cuts.
It is formulated in a base of beeswax, and vegetable butters blended with essential oils that flying insects tend to not like, however are beneficial skin care.

Why does it keep flies at bay and help with healing? Flies do not like products that weigh down their wings and they cannot fly. Also beeswax is very good at moisturizing and protecting skin issues. The vegetable butters are soothing and moisturizing .
Just wanted to take a minute to thank you for getting the products to me so quickly, and also to tell you that The Balm! is absolutely incredible! I put it on my mare with the worst black-fly bites she’s ever had and turned her out. By the time I brought her back in that night, the scabs were gone and the bites were healing. Put some more on overnight and by the next morning, her skin was almost smooth. She got a few more bites during that day, but nothing like what had been happening. I’m going to order a jar today to send to a friend.

The Balm. OMG, it is awesome. I have the normal equine ointments in my tack box but they are very oily, gunk up the hair around the scrape, and collect dirt onto the site from anywhere. This is the first time that I have tried The Balm. It feels cleaner, sets cleaner and in one day there was improvement on the scrapes. And, yes, it smells wonderful.

I have purchased several jars of “The Balm”. It quickly helps reduce irritation/swelling from any bug bites and helps any skin rubs from halters heal up quickly. It also is a great protective barrier on areas of my horse where bugs are prone to bite (chest, between legs, etc.). Smells great, works great, I will continue to use on all of my horses!
